Filming has wrapped up for Captain Marvel according to the directors, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. The film will be released on March 8, 2019. Filming took 75 days, now it is onto CGI. The story is about Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) based in 1990’s. At the end of Avengers: Infinity War, Nick Fury seemed to summon Captain Marvel for help.

This blog will talk about Yon-Rogg. Check out previous blogs for the rest of the characters in the movie. Check out my earlier blog for Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel). Who is Yon-Rogg? He is alien kree who is primary antagonist to Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers). Yon-Rogg possesses  agility,  stamina and super-strength. He is also great at unarmed combat. Yon-Rogg first appeared in Marvel Super Heroes issue 12 (December 1967), created by Stan Lee and Gene Colan.

Paul Benjamin “Ben” Mendelsohn will appear as Talos in the Captain Marvel movie out March 8, 2019 in IMAX and 3D. Brie Larson will appear as Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers).
Ben has roles in Dark Knight Rises (2012), Rogue One: Star Wars Story (2016), and Ready Player One (2018). He will be one of the  villain in the Captain Marvel movie.
Marvel Super Heroes issue 12 also has the first appearance of Captain Marvel (Mar-vell). This character will be played by Jude Law. He will be mentor to Carol Danvers. Jude Law has appeared in many movies including The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001), and Sherlock Holmes (2009). There is a rumor that Jude Law will be Yon-Rogg. When Marvel cast Jude Law, speculation was that he will be the main villain, Yon-Rogg.. Yon-Rogg will appear in the movie because Funko just released pictures of their toys.
