Att-Lass of Starforce in Captain Marvel

Filming has wrapped up for Captain Marvel according to the directors, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. The film will be released on March 8, 2019. Filming took 75 days, now it is onto CGI. The story is about Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) based in 1990’s. At the end of Avengers: Infinity War, Nick Fury seemed to summon Captain Marvel for help.

On Tuesday, September 5 pictures of Captain Marvel were finally released.  This picture is courtesy from Entertainment Weekly. Starforce first appeared in  Avengers 346 (April 1992) published by Marvel Comics created by Bob Harras. Starforce is a team of Kree. The initial team consisted of Captain Atlas, Doctor Minerva, Ronan the Accuser, Supremor, Ultimus, Korath the Pursuer and Shatterax. In the movie, in the picture above, we have Captain Marvel, Dr. Minerva, Korath the Pursuer, Att-Lass and Bronchar.

The picture above is Att-Lass. He is played by Algenis Perez-Soto. He is famous for his roles in Sugar (2008). Att-Lass is also known as Captain Atlas or Titanium Man. He first appeared in Quasar #9 (April 1990) published by Marvel Comics created by Mark Gruenwald and Mike Manley.

Current copies of  Avengers 346 on ebay are selling around $8-$12 plus shipping and Quasar #9  are selling around $10-$12 plus shipping. Sell if you have them because I don’t think this team or character will last more than one movie but I could be wrong.
